FOAMGLAS® HLB Block Insulation

 
 

FOAMGLAS® HLB Cellular Glass Insulation is specially designed for high load bearing industrial applications. Its unique combination of high compressive strength and low thermal conductivity makes it ideal for a wide range of tank base construction and other industrial load bearing applications. 

 

FOAMGLAS® HLB Insulation is manufactured in a full range of standard grades and it is available in standard SI and Imperial formats.

A See Pittsburgh Corning Quality Control Specification (I-QC) for sampling and testing of Guaranteed Physical Properties.

B Density - Nominal +/- 15%.

C Compressive Strength - minimum lot average value when tested in accordance with ASTM C240 / ASTM C165 or EN 826 Annex A per ISO 3951.

D Conforms with ASTM C552 and / or EN 14305.

Limit value when tested according to ASTM C177, ASTM C518, EN 12667, EN 12939 per ISO 3951 at select mean reference temperatures.

F Other formats and thicknesses may be provided to fill specialty orders.

G Thicknesses up to 7" (175 mm) available on high load bearing grades up to HLB 1600. Thicknesses up to 5" (125 mm) available for HLB 2400.  Minimum order quantities may apply for some size / grade combinations.
