    A low temperature anti-abrasive (LTAA) coating that reduces abrasion from vibrating piping or equipment by providing a durable bore coating to insulation substrates across a wide range of service temperatures. Product is idea for application to FOAMGLAS® insulation blocks, curved segments (PSG), half shells (PSH) and fitting covers.

     

    Service Temperature Limits:

    -182 °C to 120 °C
    -296 °F to 248 °F

  • PITTSTOP™ 196 Vapor Stop

    PITTSTOP™ 196 Vapor Stop is a two component, butyl rubber elastomer specially designed for use in FOAMGLAS® insulation systems. Its service temperature range is specifically suited for Liquid Natural Gas and other cryogenic insulation systems.

     

    Service Temperature Limits:

    -196°C to 121°C
    -320°F to 250°F

  • PITTCOTE® 300E Coating

    A liquid applied moisture cure vapor retarder coating especially formulated for use with FOAMGLAS® insulation. PITTCOTE® 300E coating can be used as a protective/vapor retarder coating over FOAMGLAS® insulation under metal jacket or other UV resistant finish or as vapor retarder coating in direct buried applications.

    -40 to 93°C
    -40 to 200°F

    Sprayable grade available by special order.

  • PITTCOTE® 300 Coating

    A liquid-applied, bituminous vapor retarder coating especially formulated for use with FOAMGLAS® insulation in the low to moderate temperature range. It is available in trowel or spray grade. Application is by spray, trowel or glove.

  • PITTCOTE® 404 Coating

    A highly flexible, acrylic latex coating used with FOAMGLAS® insulation where a superior weather barrier coating is required. May be applied by glove, trowel, brush or spray.

     

    Service Temperature Range:
    -34 to 82°C, intermittent 104°C
    -30 to 180°F, intermittent 220°F

    Standard color is white, but is available in multiple colors by special order.

  • Hydrocal® B-11 Gypsum Cement

    A reactive gypsum product that is mixed with water to form an inorganic non-combustible adhesive or coating for fabricating, bore coating, or forming HT reinforced FOAMGLAS® insulation shapes.

    -268 to 482°C
    -450 to 900°F

    A two component inorganic mortar used as a stainless steel compatible bore coating or in forming high temperature reinforced shapes.

  • TEROSTAT PC® FRi Coating-Sealant-Adhesive

    A silicone-based, single-component coating, sealant and adhesive which cures by reaction with humidity. It is odorless, free of solvents, isocyanates and PVC.

     

    It provides good weathering, UV and mechanical resistance, as well as excellent chemical resistance, and is classified as a flame retardant coating and sealant (Class O as per BS476).

     

    VOC Compliant, Solvent free, No Isocyanurates.

  • PC® High Temperature Anti-abrasive (H.T.A.A.)

    A one component dry mix of modified calcium sulphate with inert mineral fillers. It is used as a reinforcement for high temperature applications and when needed for dual temperature applications. When dry it forms a hard protective surface which fills the surface cells of the insulation and provides abrasion protection up to 350°C (662°F).

  • PC® Fabric 79

    An open mesh, synthetic fabric for reinforcing PITTCOTE® 300 Coating and PITTCOTE® 404 Coating when applied over FOAMGLAS® insulation. The large mesh openings allow the coating to easily penetrate and bond to the insulation and fabric. The thickness of the fabric assures that the proper thickness of the coating is applied and gives the required strength. The high elongation accommodates large and mechanical movements without rupture and allows maximum movement of the coating.

  • PC® 74 A2 Coating

    A dry mineral coating used with glass fabric as a non-combustible coating and as an adhesive for FOAMGLAS® insulation. It contains a special mixture of sands, cement, and hydrated lime.

    -22 to 176°F

  • PC® 150 Mesh

    An open mesh, alkali-resistant glass fabric for reinforcing mastic finishes over FOAMGLAS® insulation. It has large mesh opening which allow heavy mastics or mineral coatings to easily penetrate and bond to insulation and fabric surfaces. It is especially suited for use with PC® 74 A2 Coating and PC® 80 mortar.

  • PITTCOTE® TB Primer

    A low VOC cut-back asphalt of a thin brush, roll or spray consistency. When applied, the material will be minimally tacky and exhibit a dark black color. This product is typically used to prime porous and prepared substrates. By applying this primer, substrates will be made smoother and more compatible for applying PITTCOURSE™ 100 High Performance Bitumen Damp Proof Course (DPC). The priming of these surfaces creates a greater surface area contact which results in maximized points of contact for the DPC.
